Sri Lanka, Aug. 1 -- Opposition lawmaker Dr Harsha de Silva says he's glad that Sri Lanka's tariff rate has been set at 20%.

Taking to social media, he said that the rate ensures that the island can continue to be regionally competitive, and that the credit goes to everyone, seen and unseen, who worked on the negotiations.

He also thanked the US Trade Representatives for understanding the island's limitations.
