Sri Lanka, Sept. 18 -- The National Organiser of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya, Tissa Attanayake, says the Opposition cannot avoid the public, even though the government accuses it of doing so.

Responding to criticism from the government regarding the Opposition Leader's nationwide tours, Attanayake stated that the government is avoiding the public, which is why the Opposition Leader is meeting them.

He added that these tours are useful not only for listening to the public's problems but also for finding solutions to them in the future.

He concluded by saying that the current government and President are criticising the tours because they are unable to handle them, and the Opposition does not pay attention to these criticisms.
