Sri Lanka, May 3 -- A 32-year-old resident of Kalpitiya died after drowning while bathing in the Kala Oya in the Gangewadiya area of Puttalam. Police report that a woman from the same group is also missing.

In a separate incident, the bodies of two youths who went missing while bathing in the Deduru Oya in Chilaw two days ago have been recovered by the Navy.
