Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- The Traffic OIC of the Keerthibandarapura Police in Nuwara Eliya has been arrested by officers from the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

The arrest was made in connection with a case where the officer allegedly accepted a bribe of LKR 10,000 from a lorry driver. The OIC is scheduled to be presented before the Walapane Magistrate's Court.
