Sri Lanka, April 30 -- A nurse was injured after her car veered off the road and tumbled approximately 60 feet down a slope into a tea estate.

The incident occurred today (30) at around 8:30 a.m. on the Hatton-Bogawantalawa main road in the Norwood Kendagolla Estate area.

The injured nurse has been admitted to the Dikoya Base Hospital for treatment.

Norwood Police stated that the incident occurred while she was commuting from Hatton to the Dikoya Base Hospital for work.
