Sri Lanka, April 6 -- National People's Power (NPP) Kegalle District Parliamentarian H. A. Kosala Nuwan Jayaweera has passed away at the age of 38.

He reportedly died of a sudden heart attack and was pronounced dead at the Karawanella Hospital.

Jayaweera was elected to Parliament representing the Kegalle District with 61,713 votes.

He was born in the village of Napawala in the Dehiowita Divisional Secretariat.
