Sri Lanka, Feb. 15 -- National People's Power (NPP) MP K. Ilankumaran was injured in a road accident in Chavakachcheri this afternoon (15).

The accident occurred when the MP's vehicle, traveling from Kilinochchi to Jaffna, collided with a lorry in front of them.

The MP, his assistant, and the driver sustained injuries and have been admitted to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.
