Sri Lanka, June 13 -- Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara, has urged the Sri Lankan community in Israel to remain alert due to the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran.

He advised those planning to travel to Israel to postpone their trips, as a state of emergency has been declared across Israel, and flights in the region, including Israel and Iran, have been suspended.

Sri Lankans currently in Israel are also advised to keep essential supplies, such as food and medicine, readily available.
