Sri Lanka, Feb. 14 -- The Ministry of Energy has announced that there will be no more power cuts from today.

The islandwide power outage last Sunday had rendered all three generators at the Norochcholai Lakvijaya Coal Power Plant inoperative, leading to scheduled power cuts across the country.

However, the ministry confirmed that by yesterday afternoon, the generators had been restarted, allowing for the immediate suspension of power cuts.
