Sri Lanka, July 23 -- Veteran lyricist Nirmala de Alwis, wife of veteran lyricist and journalist Premakeerthi de Alwis, passed away last night (22).

Her body will lie in state at the Fonseka Funeral Home in Peradeniya.

Public viewing is open from this morning until 5:00 PM tomorrow (24).
