Sri Lanka, Jan. 31 -- The night mail train service between Colombo Fort and Kankesanthurai, which was suspended for nearly two years due to the modernization of the Northern Railway Line, will resume operations from today.

General Manager of the Railway Department, Dhammika Jayasundara, confirmed the resumption, marking the return of an important long-distance train service.
