Sri Lanka, March 9 -- Georgia Plimmer's maiden ODI century powered New Zealand to a 98-run victory over Sri Lanka, securing a 2-0 series win in the third ODI in Nelson.

New Zealand posted 280 for 6, with Plimmer's 112 anchoring the innings. Suzie Bates contributed 53 in a 108-run opening stand with Plimmer. Brooke Halliday (32) and Isabella Gaze (24) added valuable runs, helping New Zealand score 89 in the final ten overs.

Jess Kerr's early strikes left Sri Lanka struggling at 57 for 4. Despite 45-run efforts from Kavisha Dilhari and Nilakshika Silva, Sri Lanka was bowled out for 182. Kerr claimed 3 for 22 while Fran Jonas picked up 3 for 40.
