Sri Lanka, Oct. 16 -- Two new secretaries have been appointed to two ministries.

W.W.S. Mangala, an officer of the Special Grade of the Sri Lanka Planning Service, has been appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation.

W.M.D.T. Wickramasighe, an officer of the Special Grade of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, has been appointed as the Secretary to the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs.

The letters of appointment were handed over by the President's Secretary, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (15) afternoon.
