Sri Lanka, June 4 -- The Ministry of Higher Education has announced plans to create a National Education Data Management System starting next year.

This initiative, carried out with the support of the Sri Lanka Air Force's Information Technology Division, aims to integrate all student data into one system.

This will include information such as birth certificates, examination results, aptitudes, and competencies.

The project is slated to begin next year, focusing initially on students entering Grades One and Six.
