Sri Lanka, Aug. 31 -- The National Road Safety Council has announced that, starting tomorrow, September 1, all passengers in vehicles travelling on expressways will be required to wear seatbelts.
The rule applies to passengers in both the front and back seats.
The council has also granted a three-month grace period for vehicles that do not currently have seatbelts to have them installed.
