Sri Lanka, Feb. 7 -- The planned nationwide strike scheduled for the day after tomorrow was called off after the transfer of Dr. Charles Nugawela, who served as the Acting Deputy Director of the Maligawatta Kidney Hospital.

Chanaka Dharmawickrama, President of the Government Association of Radiological Technologists, stated that the physician was reassigned to the National Dental Institute as its Deputy Director.
