Sri Lanka, June 9 -- The National Police Commission has announced the immediate transfer and appointment of five gazetted officers.

Accordingly, Senior Superintendent of Police M.S. Mohanlal has been appointed as the Director (Investigations) of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), moving from his previous role within the same commission.

Additionally, Superintendent of Police A.S.K. Bandara has been transferred from the Ampara Division to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Assistant Superintendent of Police W.T. Anuranga has also been assigned to the CID from the Mount Lavinia Division.
