Sri Lanka, July 26 -- A special search operation was carried out yesterday morning (25) in the Rajapakshapura area of Seeduwa. The operation involved officers from the Police, the Special Task Force, and other security agencies.

During the search, nearly 25 milligrams of Ice (crystal methamphetamine) and over 21 grams of Kerala cannabis were discovered meticulously hidden inside a doll in a boarding room of a house. A 29-year-old woman found in the room was arrested and is expected to be produced before the courts.

In addition to the drug seizure, the security forces' search operation led to the apprehension of 19 suspicious individuals, 7 people for corruption offences, and one person who had evaded court. Three motorcycles without lic...
