Sri Lanka, Sept. 6 -- The National Organiser of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa, has said he is seriously considering legal action against what he calls a continuous mudslinging campaign by the government.
Speaking at a media briefing today, he said he had tolerated past allegations regarding "golden horses," "the Dubai Marriott Hotel," "Uganda money," and "rockets," but would not do so going forward.
Rajapaksa noted that the campaign has restarted with a new "container incident."
He questioned the government about the whereabouts of 323 containers that were allegedly released from the port in January without inspection, asking what goods they contained.
