Sri Lanka, Feb. 9 -- Namal Rajapaksa, National Organiser of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), questioned why members of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) cannot simply call Basil Rajapaksa if they need to speak with him, given their history of working together during the 2005 Presidential Election.

Speaking to the media after an event in Thihariya, Gampaha, the MP addressed recent inquiries regarding Basil Rajapaksa's whereabouts.

He remarked that the current Minister in charge of the police was the same individual who brought forward similar cases during the 2015 Anti-Corruption Committee.
