Sri Lanka, Dec. 27 -- A multi-religious ceremony and a Dhamma sermon took place this evening (27) at the United National Party (UNP) headquarters, Sirikotha, in Pitakotte to transfer merit to those who died and invoke blessings on those injured or affected by Cyclone Ditwah.
Former President and UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe presided over the event, which commenced with multi-religious observances. The subsequent Dhamma sermon was delivered by Venerable Dodampahala Rahula Thera.
