Srilanka, Dec. 12 -- National People's Power Member of Parliament and former Speaker Ashoka Sapumal Ranwala, who was receiving treatment at the Kiribathgoda Hospital after sustaining injuries in a crash in the Sapugaskanda Police Division last night (11), was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital, according to hospital sources.

A hospital spokesperson said that he is receiving treatment in Ward No. 72.

The police stated that MP Ranwala's jeep struck the rear of a motorcycle travelling ahead of it near Denimulla junction on the road running from Galwala junction to Power House.
