Sri Lanka, May 17 -- Police have arrested the individual suspected to have driven the motorcycle used in the recent fatal shooting of a young man in Mount Lavinia.

The arrest was made in Makumbura, Pannipitiya, according to the Mount Lavinia Division Crime Investigation Bureau.

The victim of the shooting was identified as Praveen Nisanka, a 19-year-old resident of Oban Place, Dehiwala, who worked on a contract basis in the solid waste management division of the Mount Lavinia Municipal Council.

Police discovered the suspect had dismantled the motorcycle used in the crime and buried the parts behind his house.
