Sri Lanka, Oct. 16 -- The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) stated that its services are being carried out without any interruption.

The Department confirmed in a statement that the processes for new registrations and the transfer of motor vehicles are taking place smoothly.

The DMT's statement further noted that there are reports of brokers subjecting individuals seeking services to unnecessary pressure by spreading false information that the Department's functions have been halted due to a technical fault.
