Sri Lanka, Jan. 16 -- Three additional suspects have been arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting the shooting incident that took place in front of a house in Bodhiyatta, Kohuwala.

The shooting, which occurred on the night of 30 December 2025, resulted in a 16-year-old girl sustaining injuries when two unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire.

The Kohuwala Police and the Special Task Force (STF), who were conducting joint investigations, apprehended the three suspects yesterday during raids in Dematagoda and Wellampitiya.

The arrested individuals are aged 27, 32, and 35, and are residents of Colombo 09 and Colombo 12.
