SriLanka, Nov. 8 -- Police investigations into the fatal shooting that took place on 16th Lane, Kotahena, are revealing more information following the arrest and questioning of three suspects.

The vehicle believed to have been used by the assailants in the shooting was recovered by the police after being found abandoned in the Armour Street area of Pettah.

Police also reported finding a live bullet inside the motor car.

Following extensive investigations, three suspects connected to the shooting have been apprehended in the Manipay area of Jaffna.

The victim, a 43-year-old resident of Kotahena, died after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital due to severe injuries.
