Sri Lanka, April 20 -- Police have apprehended three additional suspects in connection with the attempted murder of businessman Osman Gunasekara of Gampaha and others.

Following the interrogation of suspects previously arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF), two more individuals, residents of Udugampala aged 22 and 57, who were found to be involved in another crime, have been taken into custody.

Furthermore, the STF arrested a 25-year-old resident of Hettipola who allegedly linked the two Udugampala suspects to members of criminal gangs.

Authorities also seized four mobile phones from this individual.
