Sri Lanka, May 16 -- The Colombo Magistrate's Court has adjourned the hearing of the money laundering case against Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, and his grandmother Daisy Forrest until July 11.

The order was issued today when the case was presented in court, with both Yoshitha Rajapaksa and Daisy Forrest in attendance.

During the proceedings, President's Counsel Sampath Mendis, representing the accused, informed the Magistrate that the Attorney General has filed indictments against his clients in the Colombo High Court concerning the alleged money laundering.

Considering the information brought before the court, the Magistrate subsequently ordered that the case be taken up for further hearing on July 11...
