Sri Lanka, July 13 -- The son of model Piyumi Hansamali has been arrested by Welikada Police in connection with an assault on an individual in the Kalapaluwawa area of Rajagiriya.

Following a road accident, the suspect, along with others, allegedly assaulted a person who has since been hospitalised with injuries. Police stated that the arrested suspect is expected to be produced in court.
