Sri Lanka, May 2 -- Colombo Stocks were mixed today with the All Share Price Index rising by 51.8 to close at 15,851.74.

However, the S&P SL20 index saw a slight decrease of 5.37 units, closing at 4,638.29.

The total market turnover for the day amounted to Rs.5.9 billion.

A total of 121 companies contributed positively to the ASPI, while 60 companies saw declines.

Among the top positive contributors*, Pan Asia Banking Corporation recorded a turnover of Rs.252.38 million from 6.84 million shares traded.

CT Holdings, DFCC Bank, Melstacorp and Nations Trust Bank also made notable positive contributions, supporting market sentiment.
