Sri Lanka, Feb. 12 -- Environment Minister Dr. Dhammika Patabendi announced that steps will be taken to resolve the issues related to the ban on Adivasi people entering the forest within the next three months.

He made this statement while addressing a ceremony at the Kotabakiniya Adivasi Village in Dambana yesterday, held in conjunction with the 2025 International Earth Summit.

A commemorative stamp and a first-day cover featuring the portrait of the Adivasi leader were also released as part of the event.
