Sri Lanka, June 25 -- Sri Lanka faces potential impacts across various sectors due to the escalating military tensions in the Middle East, according to Cabinet Media Spokesman, Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.

He made these remarks during a media briefing on Cabinet decisions today (25).

Minister Jayatissa highlighted concerns regarding Sri Lankan migrant workers in Israel and Iran, suggesting that remittances could be affected.

He also warned of a potential global increase in oil prices.

Furthermore, the Minister noted that the conflict could create issues for Sri Lanka's exports, including tea.

To address these concerns, a committee has been appointed.
