Sri Lanka, May 28 -- The Association of Medical Laboratory Technologists has announced that its ongoing strike will be temporarily suspended at 8am on May 28.

However, Ravi Kumudesh, President of the Joint Council for Professions of Supplementary to Medicine, stated that if a negotiated settlement for the strike is not reached, a full-scale strike involving all supplementary medical professionals will commence next week.
