Sri Lanka, May 24 -- West Indies' Matthew Forde smashed a 16-ball fifty against Ireland, equaling AB de Villiers' record for the fastest half-century in men's ODIs.
He finished with 58 off 19 balls, including eight sixes, with 96.55% of his runs coming from boundaries, marking the highest ever for a 50+ ODI score.
Forde's blitz set a new standard for power-hitting in the format.
