Srilanka, Dec. 8 -- The case brought by the Attorney General against Tamim Rahman, a Bangladeshi national holding British citizenship and owner of the Dambulla Thunders franchise, will be recalled on January 07.

Rahman faces allegations of attempting to bribe a player who participated in last year's Lanka Premier League (LPL) in connection with match-fixing.

The case was presided over by Judge Udesh Ranatunga.

Rahman's legal team previously informed the court that the accused was willing to plead guilty and resolve the matter promptly, adding that a formal submission would be made to the Attorney General.
