Sri Lanka, Dec. 27 -- A 35-year-old man died in the early hours of the morning after being hospitalised following a meal of kottu, according to Anguruwatota Police.
The deceased, identified as K.D. Mahesh Sanjeeva Nandadeva was an unmarried resident of Nadiuyana, Batagoda. Investigations reveal that he returned home from his workplace at a private company around 8:30 PM on the 24th, bringing a kottu meal which he shared with his elder brother.
Symptoms of vomiting and abdominal pain appeared around 10:30 PM, leading to his admission at the Galpatha Hospital. He was subsequently transferred to the Horana District General Hospital for further treatment, where he passed away shortly after.
