Sri Lanka, Jan. 23 -- A primary suspect involved in distributing narcotics in the Kadugannawa area was apprehended by police early yesterday morning while attempting to hide packets of heroin near utility poles. The arrest took place around 1:00 AM on January 22, with officers seizing 30 grams of heroin in the suspect's possession.
Investigations revealed that the resident of Augustawatta, Kandy, used a specific method to supply buyers. He would hide the narcotics near electric poles, photograph the locations, and send the images to customers once they completed their payments. The suspect reportedly sold individual packets for 5,000 LKR, which secondary sellers would then divide into smaller portions to resell for 3,000 LKR each.
