Srilanka, Dec. 12 -- All liquor licence fees are increased by approximately 100%, effective immediately from today (12).

This follows the proposal presented to the Parliament by the President on December 05.

The relevant Gazette notification, signed by the President, stated that the annual excise fee, the security deposit amount, and the one-time charge for industry entry are thus increased.
