Srilanka, Nov. 28 -- The Department of Railways confirmed that a limited number of train services will operate this evening to cater to passengers with essential travel needs.

Amid ongoing severe weather and flooding, these special services will be restricted to routes within the Western Province.

The move aims to support critical commuting for essential service workers and individuals requiring urgent transportation, while prioritising passenger safety.
