Sri Lanka, Oct. 29 -- A female lawyer has been arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting a person involved in the killing of 'Ganemulla Sanjeewa'.

The arrest took place in the Kadawatha area.

Police stated the suspect was arrested on charges of providing a fake lawyer's identification card to Ishara Sewwandi, who is considered the main suspect in the killing.

Ishara Sewwandi and other suspects, who were arrested in Nepal, were recently brought back to the island.
