Sri Lanka, Jan. 22 -- Two suspects, including a female lawyer and a private company director, were released on personal bail of Rs. 5 million each today. Colombo Chief Magistrate Thasanga S. Bodaragama issued the order following allegations involving the creation of forged deeds for a five-acre land belonging to Hapugastenna Plantations.
The court imposed a travel ban on both individuals and ordered the surrender of their passports. The Magistrate also warned the suspects against influencing witnesses related to the investigation.
