Sri Lanka, Oct. 21 -- Lanka Transformers Limited has been summoned before the Parliamentary Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) on Friday, the 24.

Lanka Transformers Limited has been called before the COPE Committee as it functions as a subsidiary institution of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), and is related to the ongoing investigations concerning the CEB.

The COPE Committee is scheduled to convene on the 24 at the Parliament, under the chairmanship of Dr. Nishantha Samaraweera.
