A Level 2 amber alert is currently in place for Walapane and Nildandahinna in the Nuwara Eliya district, signaling a heightened risk to residents.

A Level 1 landslide warning has been issued for Wilgamuwa in the Matale district.

NBRI officials are urging the public in these specific regions to remain vigilant and follow safety instructions.
