Srilanka, Dec. 10 -- A landslide site in the Morahela - Meegolla area, which belongs to the Meegahakiwula Divisional Secretariat Division, became active again today (10) in the early morning.

Meegahakiwula Divisional Secretary Nirmala Kumuduni stated that no loss of life or property damage was reported due to this landslide.

Meanwhile, vehicular movement on the Badulla - Mahiyanganaya road became restricted to one lane after earth embankments fell onto the road at several locations.

These earth embankments fell between Badulla and Kandaketiya, and the Road Development Authority carries out work to clear the soil.

However, police asked drivers to proceed with extreme caution when driving on this road.
