Sri Lanka, Dec. 20 -- Due to heavy rainfall affecting several parts of the island, the National Building Research Institute has decided to extend the landslide early warnings issued for five districts until 8.00 a.m. tomorrow (21).

Level 3 (red) evacuation notices have been issued for several Divisional Secretariat divisions in the Kandy and Nuwara Eliya districts, while Level 2 landslide warnings have been issued for the Badulla, Kurunegala, and Matale districts.
