Sri Lanka, May 17 -- The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has sealed the official chambers of Kaduwela Magistrate Chanimma Wijebandara at the court premises, according to the Kaduwela Police.

Police stated that Magistrate Wijebandara has been granted an opportunity to visit the court next Monday (19) to collect her personal belongings from the sealed office.

Until then, police security will be provided for the premises.

A senior official from the Kaduwela Police further revealed that the sealing of the chambers and the temporary suspension of performing duties at the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court are reportedly linked to ongoing inquiries initiated by the JSC following several complaints received against former Magistrate Chanimma Wijeb...
