Sri Lanka, July 8 -- Minister of Health and Mass Media, Nalinda Jayatissa, stated today, (8) that he accepts the need for a code of ethics for journalists.
The Minister made this remark in response to a question raised during today's parliamentary session.Minister Jayatissa indicated that the government is focusing on maintaining a code of ethics for journalists, and the drafting of such a code has already begun within his ministry.
