Sri Lanka, Aug. 28 -- A coalition of joint opposition parties has decided to create a legal team to address instances of political victimisation.
The decision was made following a meeting held at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition.
Former MP Chandima Weerakkody has been appointed to coordinate the committee.
Additionally, former MPs Lasantha Alagiyawanna and Saman Ratnapriya will be in charge of coordinating a collective body of all political parties to counter such victimisations.
