Sri Lanka, April 27 -- The death toll from a significant explosion at Iran's largest commercial port, Shahid Rajaee in Bandar Abbas, has risen to at least 25, according to local media citing the head of Hormozgan province's judiciary, Mojtaba Ghahremani. Hundreds of others were injured in the blast that occurred on Saturday. Initial reports suggest the explosion, which struck the Shahid Rajaee section of the port, was likely caused by the improper storage of chemicals in containers. Hossein Zafari, a spokesperson for Iran's crisis management organisation, appeared to corroborate this, stating that the chemicals within the containers were the cause.
