Sri Lanka, Jan. 28 -- Ambalangoda Police have launched a manhunt for two unidentified gunmen who shot a 28-year-old man during a house party in Sunamiwatta today. The victim, identified as a resident of Galaboda, was targeted while attending the gathering earlier this morning.

Following the attack, the victim was rushed to Balapitiya Hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment. Preliminary findings suggest the assailants used a pistol-type firearm to carry out the shooting before fleeing the scene.

While the exact motive behind the killing remains unclear, investigators are looking into various leads to identify the suspects and determine if the incident is linked to local gang activity...
